Edgewood School

Dear Community Member or Visitor,  

Welcome to our school’s website! At Edgewood School, the children are always at the center of our work. We value our relationships with students and actively foster those connections on a daily basis through our informal interactions as well as our formal school structures. In order for each child to learn as much as possible, we believe we must make sure each one feels a genuine sense of belonging, significance, and fun as an important member of our school community. 

We also feel a strong sense of responsibility to our community of families at Edgewood School. We believe that partnering with families, knowing them and valuing their contributions, is as important as knowing the children we teach. We work hard to ensure they have a clear understanding of their child’s day-to-day experiences at school and that their voices are heard on important decisions about those experiences. 

None of this, of course, is possible without the incredible efforts of our faculty and staff at Edgewood. Our highly skilled and tremendously caring faculty and staff take great pride in ensuring a safe and supportive school environment in which all students can learn at high levels. Their dedication to their own professional development as well as their commitment to collaborating with their colleagues are exemplary and consistently result in providing an outstanding education for our students at Edgewood. As our school song joyfully reminds us, “Edgewood is the finest place to be!”
